Can I Get a VA Stimulus Check? No, You Can’t.

Don’t pay attention to the fake news claiming that disabled veterans are set to receive up to $3,600 in stimulus booster payments.

It’s simply not true.

As of 2024, the VA does not offer stimulus checks or booster payments to disabled veterans.

Is the VA Sending Out Stimulus Checks?

Contrary to what others have stated, the VA won’t be sending out stimulus checks to disabled veterans.

The VA does offer VA disability payments to disabled veterans with a service-connected VA rating of 10% or more.

At the 30% rating and higher, disabled veterans are eligible to receive extra tax-free compensation for their dependents.

Additionally, some disabled veterans qualify for Special Monthly Compensation, which is an extra benefit provided by the VA to veterans or their eligible dependents who have specific disabilities or combinations of disabilities.

How Do I Get More VA Disability Compensation?

Rather than thinking you’re going to get a stimulus check from the VA, I recommend disabled veterans apply for an increase to their current VA disability rating (if eligible by law).

In my experience, 94% of the 18.5M veterans do not have the VA disability compensation they deserve, with many veterans losing thousands of dollars per month of tax-free money.

You can file for a VA disability increase online at VA.gov.
