Does the wife of a 100% disabled veteran get benefits?

Yes, the spouse of a 100% disabled veteran may qualify for various benefits, including education assistance, healthcare coverage, and home loan benefits.  

Additional benefits may include caregiver support, commissary and exchange privileges, and dependency and indemnity compensation. 

Do spouses of 100% disabled veterans qualify for healthcare benefits?

Yes, spouses may qualify for CHAMPVA (Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Department of Veterans Affairs), which helps cover medical expenses if they do not already qualify for TRICARE. 

When a husband dies, does the wife get his VA disability?

When a 100% disabled veteran passes away, their spouse doesn’t automatically continue receiving the veteran’s VA disability compensation.  

However, the surviving spouse may be eligible for Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC) if the veteran’s death was service-connected. 

Do spouses of 100% disabled veterans get dental benefits?
