What Does ‘We Are Preparing Your Claim Decision Packet to be Mailed’ Mean?
If your VA claim status says, “We are preparing your claim decision packet to be mailed,” it means the VA is putting together your decision letter and they are preparing to mail it to you.
This step is part of the Preparation for Notification stage of your VA claim, which means you’re close to receiving a decision on your VA disability claim.
If you’re eligible for VA disability benefits, this letter will include your VA disability rating, the amount of your monthly payments, and the date your VA disability payments will start.
