A little about Dennis
Married 34 years, Viet Nam combat veteran with 2 grown sons. One is a Fire-Medic and the other is at UT-Galveston in Nursing School. Grew up in Indianapolis but got to Texas as fast as I could! Love to golf and play basketball with my sons. My wife wanted me to retire but when I saw what this entity was about, I couldn't wait to get on board. Just started in September 2021' and have a passion for helping vets get the rating they deserve. watched a lot of the YouTube videos and the passion that the employees had was very convincing. I wanted to become part of the team!
I was 19 when I joined the Army. Served in the 1st Infantry Division, Viet Nam from 1968-1970. I joined because my buddies and most of the males in my high school had been drafted. I was very curious as to what was going on over there. 1968 was a very crazy year. I received a Bronze Star and an Army Commendation Medal during back-to-back operations around April-May of 1969. I was in combat in areas of An Loc, Lai Khe, and Di An. Those memories are forever locked away and that's where I prefer they stay.
